More than I thought I’d be
Learning to forgive
Learning to love myself
just the way I am.
This is me
Sunday
in this moment
I will find happiness
within myself
I will not allow my mind
to think any less
than what I truly am
in this moment
I will become my own being
I will not let society
define who I am
or control how I think
in this moment
I will smile longer
love a little more
laugh a little louder
and forgive without regrets
in this moment
I will find happiness
within myself
Did you know?
that I miss you
when you’re not here
that I need you
like the air
that fills my lungs
that I want you
like the fire
that burns inside
that I love you
with no doubt
in my mind
Did you?
Inside my daydream
I want you
to hold you tight
until your hurt is gone
until you can let go
I want to taste you
on my mind
enjoying every part
of your fire
I want
to consume you
to see myself
upon your beautiful smile
I want to feel
the beating
of your heart
in my veins
in every part
of my being
I want to
ebb and flow
with you
getting lost
within each other

somedays
you just feel
black and white
where you only
see the shades
as they are
just outcasts
upon the
visible spectrum
of light waves
Inside these moments
It’s moments like these that steal your breath away. The quietness of the morning, before the world fully wakes. The way the fog settles in, waiting for the sun to chase it away.
It’s in these moments that you find answers, you find peace and solitude. You find a strength you never knew you had. Forgiveness seems a little easier, the pain seems a little less.
These moments are more than the image to me. These moments are for dreaming, for falling in love with the one person who knows your soul. For learning, growing and discovering.
These are the moments, that matter the most in this world. Right here, right now. YOU are worthy, YOU are beautiful and YOU are more than enough!
