floating inside
this vast space
like a blank canvas
painting pictures
for the world to see
and when
there is no gravity left
to keep me here
I will leave traces
of poetry
everywhere I go

Unveiled
here I am
inside these walls
baring my soul
with poetic oxygen
stripped down
for all to see
the depths
of my entirety
my self-portrait
splattered across these
ink-stained pages
unveiled
by my pen
for all to read
Waiting in silence
the shadows rest
in the colors
of the walls
hidden in secrets
that keep me bound
I listen as silence
fills my lungs
waiting for time
to softly whisper
and fill my flesh
with memories
Glass doors
her eyes struggle
to open
as the sun
peeks though
the broken window
memories haunt her
to her core
but the scars
she still wears
behind glass doors
this little girl
still trapped between
these paper walls
where her secrets
still live
Remember me
I hope
you’ll remember
the depth
of my love
when I am gone
into the silence
of the night
I hope
you’ll remember
the lines
of my poetry
one by one
knowing that I
was just
a small part
of this beautiful
love story
a small piece
of your heart
Oh how I love you
I watch you
from across
the ever changing
universe
I imagine us
dancing inside
the darkness
with the stars
quietly watching
and just for
a fleeting moment
we share a kiss
as one fades
and the other
rises
Almost a possibility
you and I
were just an almost
time and time again
I begged
the world to stop
so for once
even just a moment
we could be
so much more
than a possibility
more than
just an almost
Tomorrow
I wonder
how far tomorrow
could be?
I’ve always wanted
to get there
but it never
seems to come
Her tears
her tears
fall desperately
in the silence
of the night
now more alone
than ever
she lets it all go
before the morning
so no one
will ever know
Her last kiss ( A collaboration with “Steven S. Wallace”)

beneath the moon in the night sky
memories of you flood my mind
taken to that place where I can
kiss you like it was my last wish
laying on the windshield of my car
the lights of night Los Angeles
stretching beyond discretion’s edge
wish of the like of your last kiss
secrets of the past lay on our flesh
the gentle breeze brings us closer
as the stars fill our empty souls
you are the wish of my last kiss
LA is just a dream now — we
watched our city burned to ash
the cold desert night has returned
like it was — my kiss — your wish last
