We often live as if we have all the time in the world. We put things off — the trip, the conversation, the quiet morning to ourselves — believing there will always be a better time, a later time, a right time.
But the truth is that our time is not endless. Days blur into weeks. Moments we thought we’d hold onto forever slip quietly through our fingers. We don’t always notice how fast it’s moving… until it’s already gone.
This isn’t meant to be heavy — it’s meant to wake us up.
Because what we do with our time is our life. So don’t wait to say what you mean. Don’t keep your joy on hold. Be present. Be kind. Be awake to the beauty of ordinary moments.
We don’t regret the time we gave — we regret the time we thought we had.
Live like time matters — because it does.
you know Jennifer, one of the biggest disappointments i’ve ever had is ever taking the advice to heart that “you’re young, you have time”. Now that I’m on the other side of aging, i can confidently say that no one ever has the amount of time they think they have. and while it can be argued that there is a happy medium between pacing yourself and hurrying, I would tend to err on the side of timeliness because we just never know what things will come in the future that may push things back even more.
that being said, i hope you’re having a great Sunday and that you are doing the things and saying the things that your heart compels. Mike
Goodness, I know what you mean now more than ever. We truly just never know and for me, I wish I would have said and done more for people (and myself)in the past. I’m making up for it now because I know how important it is. I hope you’re having a wonderful day and I hope you truly know how grateful I am for your friendship, Michael. Much love to you.
same to you Jennifer 🙂 you are so cool and, of course, creative in the very best sense.
That makes two of us 🙂
🙏🏻☺️

My friend died this month, my age, after a 5 year battle with cancer.
I’m so sorry, Nicole. I hate to hear that. Time is just so valuable. ((((BIG HUGS))))
Nobody knows what time is, apart from what they’re taught and conditioned to believe. Time matters, because we are matter. Hehe…
We ALL matter, YES we sure do!!
I was referring to the material composition of the human body. Sure, we all matter. That’s there.
Haha yes, I see that now, we are MATTER haha. I got you now, sorry lack of sleep.
❤️

Time is so precious
It truly is. I realize this more and more.
I agree with this wholeheartedly ❤️. I still find it difficult to take the steps I need to though. I often procrastinate. This is a good wake up call. Btw I left comments on your other posts. I think they went to spam.
It’s not always easy, but it’s important. Thank you for mentioning the comments, they were indeed in my spam. I would have seen them eventually lol
