in the quiet echoes of goodbye
I learned the art of releasing
like autumn leaves
surrendering to the wind
I let go
feeling the weight of memories
gently flutter away
in that bittersweet moment
I found solace in the unraveling
of our intertwined hearts
and the weight of a thousand unspoken truths
rushed through me
as I whispered goodbye
to the only love I’ve ever known
It’s so hard to let go, but we have to eventually knowing that love is eternal.
Beautiful poem you are so creative.
I agree. It’s so hard to let go, but at times, we must. Thank you so much for your wonderful compliment ❤️
Jennifer, your words never cease to amaze and always touch deep. 🌷🤍🙏
Oh, Destiny, thank you so much. Your words are always so sweet and kind. 🥰
my pleasure 🙏🤍🌷
Aww, Jenn, this poem really touched my heart. Letting go is always so tough, although sometimes it just has to be done in order to move on. I realise it is a very painful business, though. I send you love 💕 and comforting hugs 🤗, Ellie Xxx 💓🥰💕
Awww, Ellie! Thank you so much. Yes, unfortunately, it has to be done at times. I hope you’re well, Ellie. I’ll be taking time later to catch up on reading blogs, including yours. Much love to you 🥰❤️💕
I understand where you’re coming, Jenn. I’ll look forward to your visit to my blog. Thank you. Much love to you, Also Xxx 💓🥰💕
Teach me ‘surrender’ so I may gain freedom from the aches.
I know, Noah. Trust me, I know. It takes time, patience and to love yourself enough to get through it. Sending you so much love and strength from me to you.
So kind. Thank you, and I wish you the same.
It’s my pleasure, always, Noah.
I so love this and the topic too! Letting go is really hard to do, for sure! Funny, you think you let go and then some random memory surfaces and old feeling resurface. You know you’ve let go but then again you know there are still thing hiding in your heart! Bellissimo, My Dear, Bellissimo!
Ahh, you’re so right dear friend. Do we truly let go? I’m doubting that. I hope you’re well! Don’t worry, I haven’t forgotten the audio recording!
I so loved this. The heart has it’s own ways of dealing with things that it doesn’t always share with one’s soul!! I think letting go is one of those things! Reminds me of a scene from Dr. Zhivago where he is telling Laura that he isn’t going to see her again, do you understand and she shakes her head yes, and then he asks her – do you believe me and she shakes her head No! The heart kinda does that to the soul.
I think the truth is that the fingerprints from anyone who has ever held our heart in their hands always remain.
Chuck 😊😁💕🌹
Thanks for remembering about the audio recording, My Dear!!
This is heartbreaking. Beautiful. Poignant. Lovely.
Thank you my dear sweet friend.
A bittersweet poem. The last line punched me in the gut. You’re a master of the love (and all it’s different aspects) poem ❤️
Awww thank you sweet friend ❤️

Thank you!
