Perfection is an illusion, it makes us believe we have to be like the ones we see online or in magazines. It makes us think that we need likes, follows and shares to feel important and to be seen. It’s a trap to make you think you are less than because you look different than what “society” says we should look like.
I am flawed, but I am also alive, breathing, and evolving. I embrace my flaws as the fractured fragments that make me whole, for it is in these cracks that the light of resilience and authenticity shines through.
Flaws give texture to the masterpiece that we are. We are masterpieces, just as we are. Don’t ever change your true canvas for anyone. I see you and I see how beautiful you are. Keep shining that beauty.
