the sweet chaos
a scrapbook of memories
paper thin strips
plastered deep
into our porcelain skin
flood our veins
some nights

trapped inside

and others
fragile
like a paper doll

all that’s left now
is to let the darkness
swallow us into
this black hole
drowning our soul
until the clock
runs out of time

counterclockwise
back to the beginning
the part where

Connected the chords
of our colliding lights
our pure chorus
that sparked
that very night sky
