the lies
fall
one
by
one
from your
imperfect mouth
they stumble
and crumble
falling all the way
down
leaving a trail
of broken words
to lay on
the ground
for another
to fall upon
But not me
I no longer
take that path
I’ve chosen
another way
Ah, this is putting it out there, CC. Love the concrete form of -one by one’ and the liar’s path is a twisted trail that leads to no where. It is wise to alter course and choose your own path. Beautiful poetry!
The course has been altered, another path was chosen. Thank you so much for your amazing support SD. ❤
That is awesome, CC. And you are welcome. I’m glad I bumped in to you on this new path you’ve chosen. ❤
Me too, SD, me too.

Great description of lies
Thanks so much!
I feel like this is new beginnings, after escaping mental/emotional abuse, and a narcissist. Such depth.
Yes, a new path I’ve chosen, after such lies. Thank you again.
