paper memories 
fragile and timeless
hold the essence of our journey 
they are the faded love letters 
tucked away in a drawer
the ones I read
over and over again
just to replay your words
to smell the scent 
of each letter
hoping they will fill
the cracks in my broken heart
and I wish I could have
just one more moment with you
because I’d never let you go
again
