as I feel the strumming
of the music
flowing across my skin
remembering the time we danced
your lips making promises
for your body to keep
time slows
and my hips sway
in rhythm with your own
and I know
in this perfect moment
I’ll never feel 
the harmony of this melody
quite like this
again
